Social Science Perspectives on Health Care: Disparities in the United States.
Held March 25, 2006

The College of Liberal Arts hosted a conference “Social Science Perspectives on Health Care: Disparities in the U.S.” The conference focused on one of the major problems facing America--access to health care, especially as it affects the poor and minorities in this country and featured presentations by Temple faculty (including Public Health and Medicine), graduate students, and representatives from other institutions.   The conference was sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
